Whether the mood board is already complete or we’ve a fresh blank canvas, we work on home refurbishment projects of all sizes, and no venture is too big or too small.

CANTON CLOSE

This was the house of a family returning home having lived in Singapore. The client wanted a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere with a high-end finish, and bespoke artwork for every room. We very much enjoyed sourcing pieces from several galleries, as well as upscaling some of their furniture in new, but fitting, fabric. Moving back into their existing home after years away, the owners also requested a new and fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms kitted out down to the last soap bar, and bedrooms all set up with new bedlinen and floor rugs.

MEADWAY

The brief for this family home in north London was to create a warm, rustic look based on existing ethnic accessories. Many of the living room colours are based on a treasured Persian silk rug, and the master bedroom’s bespoke headboard, an existing feature, dictated the design for the surrounding space. For the kitchen the watchword was durability, as the owners love to cook and host. We also had plenty of fun redesigning the children’s rooms using some existing cupboards, and upscaling them into bespoke bunk beds.

PARK GROVE

Parinaz’s own house is a space with a double purpose: it is a family home but also a client environment, the perfect place to demonstrate the work of Anvari Design. Here, clients can see how a durable, family home with facilities for children, cooking and living can also be a high-functioning business centre. The cinema room and lovingly decorated children’s bedrooms perfectly offset the more refined, thoughtfully presented reception areas.

ST JOHNS WOOD

A design upgrade was the brief for this sunny home in St Johns wood, owned by a client keen to hang on to some key pieces of furniture. When working with current fixtures and fittings it is important to understand which elements of the new design should be replaced and which can be kept. The resulting partial renovation involved changing bathrooms and WCs, switching some furniture, and replacing the more dated items with modern pieces.
